Hard evidence that I am a serious Trekkie:

The episode in which Kirk battles a lizard man and invents a gunpowder powered diamond-cannon: lame. The episode in which Kirk is stuck on a starbase, threatened with court-martial, has to sit through trials and space-lawyers and have philosophical discussion about books vs. computers AND gets his mack on with the opposing lawyer-lady: awesome.

That's right. I like the episodes where everyone sits around and talks.

Oh and bonus! Bones in his dress uniform is totally ~fine~. He looks damn smooth in shiny blue with big thick gold braid all up and down the mandarin collar. And he's all honored with valor awards and shit! I didn't know! Is there TOS Bones backstory about all of this? There had better be. Leonard McCoy: Making Sarah like older men again since 2009.

Can we take back Trekkie now? I think we can take it back now. I think the only people who know it's derogatory are the people to whom it was leveled in the first place, and they are all either Over It or not involved in society. Trekker sounds dumb. It always has.

And now, your daily dose of HORROR:

Nice gams, girlfriend.

Oh, new!Spock, there's just something about you that makes me want you to be a girl, or girly in many ways. I have no similar desires about the Original Badass Motherfucker Spock Prime, who will always be tops in my book of manliness.
