Dinner Tonight

Okra & Green Tomato Stew

-Half an onion, chopped
-One stick of celery, chopped
-One pretty big really neat looking stripey green heirloom tomato
-Half a cup give or take of frozen sliced okra
-Half a cup give or take of frozen corn kernels
-One small bundle of chopped cilantro
-One can of V8
-Salt
-Chili Powder
-Paprika (Hungarian, Sweet)
-Pepper
-Garlic Powder

Cook the onion and celery in some olive oil until translucent. Add everything else! Cook it, covered, until delicious. Taste and salt as required, and let it cook down until just barely not dry with the cover off. EAT IT IN A BIG BOWL.

Oh, boy. I love okra. Will try this when I'm at home next week--sounds like it would make for a v. yummy dinner.

It needs rice or something, and a protein, but yes, it's tasty.
